Designer Watch: We are Handsome

This amazingly creative brand who began in 2009 truly merges art/photography with fashion.

With the growing popularity of realistic prints, I thought they were a great "designer watch" candidate. They are what I would call the pioneers of photo reel fashion. At first glance, they look very L.A./West Coast, but thinking about Miami, Rio and other vacation destinations, I could see these as a must have for each location. 

Another cool tid-bit as they mention on their website, "Every piece is 100% Australian designed, every thread is Australian sewn and every We Are Handsome suit is loved."

Watch out J. Crew! Club Monaco is looking amazing for Spring '13.
Although they have a more toned down color palette and a bit more classic look, they are one of the most cohesive retailers I've seen. Each season brings in "to die for" pieces, and while browsing the rack, you can begin to see how each compliments the next.
I also love the fact that unlike J. Crew, I feel as if the market isn't oversaturated with their product. Whenever J. Crew has a new wave of inventory, I feel like I've seen it a hundred times. Club Monaco is now offered online, but still seems to be a bit of a hidden treasure that not everyone has located. So why am I telling you? Because its just too good to keep to myself.

Must See Spring 2013 Couture Show: Alexis Mabille
The couture shows are my absolute favorite runways to pour through. As I view season after season, Elie Saab is usually my love, but this season Alexis Mabille, the new kid on the couture circut is catching my eye. The amazing use of fabrics such as chiffon, lace, organza and tulle makes for girlie and sweet show-stopping pieces. Can't wait to see how this young designer evolves, I will definitely be sure to keep my eye on this one.
Also, would love to mention visiting www.style.com to see the latest and greatest runway and red carpet fashion. It's what I am glued to after the shows come out.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 30th 2012

I feel New Years is a time when I'm desperately trying to plan a spectacular night only to be disappointed. Well, the one thing I am never disappointed in is my attire. Feather skirts, dresses, boleros, accessories, etc is my new obsession and inspiration for ringing in 2013. With a hint of 1920's glam and a bit of theatrical whim thrown in, these photos will be sure to bring the party to you.
