Oh Kate Nash, you really are amazing! This song was the first one I'd heard of hers and it made me want to keep listening. Well the more I listed the more I downloaded. Apparently Kate is the cats meow across the pond and in recent years is gaining more and more American fans. Her hit "Do-Wah-Do" made it onto the Bridemaids Soundtrack slotted in Track number 5. First of my "Music to My Ears" Entries! I chose Two Gallants because they are one of those bands I can listen to over and over and never get tired of hearing it, a constant on my Ipod.
This two man band is based out of San Francisco, but don't travel around the US nearly as much as they do around Europe. I've yet to see them in concert, but hopefully that will change. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Next album, The Bloom and the Blight is due out in September!

I've been following Ann Yee for about a year now and have to say that I am continually impressed with her ability to marry tailoring with the unexpected combination of soft drapery. She is also an amazing knitwear designer and injects small pieces into her collection without making it seem forced. She is definitely a designer to keep on your radar!

Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture Collection
Amazingly beautiful as ever! Saab has been one of my all time favorite designers. 
His silhouettes are always kept simple, but the colors, fabric choice and above all the embellishments make each piece truly breathtaking.
